I’ve been sitting here trying to find the words to announce all the wonderful things going on behind the scenes for Green Apple Photography lately for too long now. I guess I’ll start at the beginning. Earlier this year I had this tug at my heart to rebrand. I kept ignoring it, because I knew it would be a lot of work, and I just wasn’t sure that I was up to the challenge. I also know that rebranding isn’t technically a wonderful thing to do. Well… the tugging just wouldn’t stop. I wanted to make sure that rebranding was something that I really wanted, and I also wanted to take some time to renew this love for photography that I have. In June I signed up for 2 wonderful workshops. The first one I attended was a Jesh de Rox workshop. I tell you, to have that be the first workshop I’ve ever attended was incredible. Let’s just say the bar was set VERY high. The most wonderful thing I took from his workshop was a new take on life, a renewal of myself. If you’ve ever attended Jesh’s workshops, you know exactly what I am talking about. You also know that trying to explain the wonderful things that take place is nearly impossible.
The second workshop I attended was Evolve by Sheye Rosemeyer. If you have ever visited or read Sheye’s blog you know what a beautiful soul she really is. The first day I was introduced to her blog I was immediately moved. First by her gorgeous images, then once I peeled my eyes away from those, I began to read. The person that got up from reading her words was not the same person that sat down to read them. If you haven’t visited her blog I highly suggest you do. Bring tissues. Her workshop was amazing as well! I learned SO MUCH. I think I am very spoiled to have attended both these workshops. If given the chance, I would LOVE to attend both of them again.
Where am I going with all this… OH, when I decided to take these workshops, I wanted to learn more about my craft; but mainly I wanted to learn more about myself. That I did. I no longer felt like rebranding would be a scary “no-no.” I began to feel like it was going to be the beginning of an amazing journey. With that in mind I decided that “Green Apple Photography” will no longer would be the best fit to represent me in this journey. So to let the “cat out of the bag” so to say, I will no longer be Green Apple Photography. I am very happy to announce that I will now be Nichole Burnett Photography.
I want to tell you more, but I feel that it’s best for you to just go check it out for yourself. Click here and enjoy.
